Students from Semester at Sea on the Cooking Class
During the free time some students join a Cooking Class at Cooking Lisbon and learn about portuguese traditional gastronomy, olive oils, portuguese wines and our culture, with a local chef.
The cooking class started at 6 pm and they were on time, happy to participate on the activities, since it is a class totally hands on. We started with the dessert, called Farófias made with the whites of the eggs and needs to cool on the refrigerator.
After dessert, we started to prepare the other 3 courses, since the menu at Cooking Lisbon has four courses. We made : “Pica Pau”, Codfish Brás Style and Peas with Poached Eggs.
For us at Cooking Lisbon, could learn more about Semester at Sea programa and concept and it is really interesting for students, learning in a whole new atmosphere.
