Gallo olive oils was founded in 1860 in Abrantes, interior of central Portugal . In 1919 became a trademark due to the recognition of the olive oil with a very singular flavor and unique taste.
The owner, Mr. Victor Guedes decided the name “Gallo” ( Portuguese name for rooster ) when he woe up on morning and opened his bedroom windows while the rooster was crowing.
More than 150 years later, Gallo is a recognized Portuguese Olive Oil worldwide, present in more than 100 countries . In 2002, they became certified with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 . The team was motivated by top management and showing the commitment of the company and brand with consumers.
