Recently, Cooking Lisbon received once again people from Semester of Sea (last time was in June 2014 in a different semester, this is an amazing program from this American company), this time for a wonderful walking food tour in Lisbon.
Has usual, at 10 pm we started in the front of Fado Museum, just after the presentations we start to walk around the place and we made the first stop to taste some cheese, ham, wines and liquors.
After the first stop, step after step we introduce the group of the walking food tour to Alfama. The traditions of Fado music, the main restaurants, small streets, while they take some pictures to these historic buildings.

We stop at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Mary Major ( Lisbon Cathedral) which i sa Roman Catholic Cathedral. It is the oldest church of the portuguese capital that is possible to visit and it was constructed in 1147.
The building was modified along the centuries and survive to the 1755 earthquake.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to see the President from Hungary, which was visiting Portugal and Lisbon.
We carry on with the walking food tour. Time to taste the flavour of the codfish croquettes (also known has codfish cakes), besides something to drink… White wine. In the end, we took our selfie with the group.
