Winemaker for a Day is a group experience in for private and corporate groups. A wine game where you will learn about Portuguese wine regions, blending wines and develops team interaction. Can your group make a wine? Yes, in fact will be the challenge of all participants.

A group activity / team building event without cooking but with wine tasting during the activity. This activity its possible to make at Cooking Lisbon facilities (Lisbon) or in a facilities you choose. We have already made it in Cascais, Sintra, Peniche, Leiria and Setúbal .

Portugal is divided by wine regions . The winemakers in Portugal are trying to keep the faith with the major grape varieties (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Arinto, Antão Vaz, Alvarinho, Malvasia Fina, Fernão Pires among others). The country presents a diversity of flavors, where the terroir is also a key factor. Portuguese wines style are: white, rosé, red, Sparkling and Port Wine.

We have previous selected three wines that you will blend according the strategy defined by the group . The goal ? Develop a unique wine, a brand, a new product to the Worldwide market . Be The Winemaker for a day on this wine game !

Each group will elect a team leader, develop their own strategy, design a table for their bottle / product. Team leaders will also participate on a blind wine tasting with all wines developed during the wine game. Each group will present to the World their product. Be creative, advise potential consumers wisely .

We have winner? The best team on this wine game will take home 1 bottle of their own wine !

Winemaker for a Day Highlights:

Groups Only : we organize Winemaker for a Day has a group event (friends or corporate).
Persons : Minimum of 10 persons and maximum of 50 people.
Indoor : in our facilities
Outdoor : you choose the location and we will be there . Requires the facility authorization, tables and chairs ( hotel, space, … ).
Highlights: Portugal presentation and different wine regions, main grape varieties. Wine tasting of 3 grapes varieties and wine activity (blend, bottled and label).
Duration : 1:30 to 2:30 hours (depends of group dimension ).
